i like that car way more tha i should.... im seeing some rallye lights and some dirt tires
yes, my friend has one and that's exactly what happened to it. :D He also worked on the engine a bit. Didn't add much in the way of horsepower, mainly durability. Rally lights, dirt tires, a wench kit and shovels and it's the greatest weekend activity :P
Every now and again we'll take it out offroading for some fun. not too powerful, but it can climb crazy things for such a normal car. Adjustable suspension stock too, pretty nifty. Oh yeah, and being able to switch to 4wd or low while moving.

You should change the first 'E' on the numberplate into a 'U' ;)
Nice car though

I have a friend who has a WRX. He took off some letters so the back now says 'UBAR'
-
That thing'll never fail you. My friend has a '95 Subaru Bratt pick-up on the farm. It's been so bashed up but everything still works perfectly. It's a real toughy!
-
i had a 98 suburu justy. It had its shortfalls but it was reliable and it had fool proof handling - its 4wd wasnt kinda pointless, good on traction but bad for noise and fuel economy.
There's some good ground clearance, it looks like a fun car to take out at 3 in the morning on a snow day and test out donuts in an abandoned parking lot.
What's snow? And it doesn't have anywhere near enough power to do 4wd donuts

Nice to see a Subaru with 320,000 kms looking so good.
With yours adding one more to the ranks, I think Subarus are now amongst the more popular cars had by UCPers.
Congrats! :)

YUG98E? I don't get it

Isn't the third letter a Q?
YUQ :P

Wouldn't mind an Imprezza RB5 or a current gen WRX STi. Subary Legacy GT would be nice too, preferably in SportWagon format. :D

You might be hanging out for a while. It's not a good sign when on the way to the mechanics for a pre-purchase check it dies. Though hopefully it was just a flat/dead battery.

Yeah, but it's only just over 21k a year, normal use for Canberra

And, lets be blunt here, you can put a bullet in these cars and they'll still run.
