Lemans Lap with the C6-R
Badboyvettes provides this video of an on board camera on the monster C6-R. It's definitely an interesting site and is worth a look. Its a shame Gavin's car this year had a drive shaft failure due to conditions under the safety car. Anyway, have a look at this video as well as others.

Wow, that is some good footage there.
That's some strong duct tape too. :p Really primitive but it works.
Reminds me of a lap through GT4. :D
Question- are parts of the Musalanne Straight (spelling?) public road? I see road signs and markings on the road there.
-
Wow.....the thing that struck me first was the sound of what appeared to be 2 C6R's and 2 S7R's all in close proximity.....4 427cui pushrod engines together.....holy crap thats kinda scary hahaha.
-
Yes, that's impressive indeed.
However, I really like the fact that the S7-R driver signaled close to entering the pits. Driver courtesy for sure. :D They really aren't required to signal when racing right?

No, parts of the Mulsanne Straight aren't public road. It's ALL public road! :p

Good video, great quality and engine note.

Nice video, but I don't see the GT1 class surviving through 2010.

Those BMW M Coupes looked great.

That was an amazing video... whole time I was thinking that I need to drive one of those monsters some day.
