I just read about a new Spyker being designed by Zagato in a dutch car magazine (www.autovisie.nl). Does anyone know more about it. It will be based on the C12 and should be unveiled at the Geneva motor show.

Yes I heard about it. As you said, it will be based on the C12. Also it will be made by Zagato. According to Spyker "Their will be a very clear link to the Formula 1".
Apparently 25 will be made for approximately double the price of a standard C12. I'm certainly looking forward to it.
too bad thy're stil thinking about that hideous SSUV-monster thing, but this one should definitely compensate for that

Aint that in production then yet ?
Anyway I'd be curious when they start thinking of making a profit for the first time. This way they can't last too long :o

The SUV would be the key to making a profit.
according to their ceo spyker should be out of the red by the end of this year, and a working specimen of their SSUV should also be in Geneva
The SUV IS on the market.

It is available for ordering (they already have around 200 orders), but the production is scheduled to begin in December 2007.

Even better :) Last I heard they expected to report profits already for 2006. The financial results will be announced at the end of March, but the profit for 2006 seems to be a certain thing.
Zagato cars are always interesting. I'm looking forward to it.
Spyker getting out of the red would be a good thing, they are definetely an interesting company and I look forward to their Zagato design now.
