Grattan Raceway Track Day...
Gone on my 2nd track day this year this weekend at Michigan's Grattan Raceway. Interesting fact, when I worked as a mechanic for a Formula BMW team back in 2004, one of the series' official test day was at Grattan. We had a pretty bad day that day as both driver binned the cars...and we had lots of fixing to do...That was my first impression of Grattan, so coming into this track day there were some butterfly in my stomach...

The track is a lot of fun. Its a relatively small track about a bit more than 3km long([url="http://www.grattanraceway.com/"]http://www.grattanraceway.com/[/url]). In it though it has blind corners, off camber turns, turn-in point that drops away from you, dips, and jump(!). Watching youtube vid before does not prepare me for the actual track...by the end though it was a great track....
