Yeah, nearly as worse as Lotus with all their special Elise's and Exige's...

Yeah, but they're still not as bad as those driving suits...

Wait until they come up with the Renaul Clio Renaultsport ING Special Edition...

of course in the subversions Fisichella and Kovalainen, otherwise there would be nothing to choose from..

as in ****ING ridiculous (just like the livery on the R27)
sorry for reviving!
A shame it really doesn't have 197bhp... more like betwen 170 and 180... nice try Renault!
if you mean it was dyno'd and the real figure was lower than claimed, thats the case with most cars... Shelby Mustang GT500 (?) actually has 410 or something... (i think its meant to have around 480).
This car is still great though (and i'm still trying to convince my brother to buy one next year)...

so it has less than the clio 182??
are you sure this example wasn't just not fully run it yet or even on the wrong fuel?

Not necessarily. Golf GT had 190bhp and the 130i over 270bhp (don't remember the exact figure). It depends on the car.

Maybe the Clio 182 didn't have 182bhp either...

Rated HP(500, in the case of your example) is tested at the flywheel, but, when you put it on the dyno, you test whp. These two numbers will NEVER be the same. Friction is a fact of life. Friction equates to powerloss. It really has something like 450 whp. 10% loss isn't bad at all.
Is it true the Clio III RS is faster on a track than the mid engine Clio V6? I was reading the earlier posts in thread.
It certainly may be faster, but the Clio V6 is certainly cooler. Shoving an engine where it never should belong always seem cooler.:D Not to mention better looking too. :p

Seen the 911? :p

But if you want to carry 4 people the V6 might be a bit useless... ;)

True, but if you were to be sensible your first choice wouldn't be a Clio V6 anyway. It'd be a Renault Espace. :D
