Biga Concept 1992
Biga was on display in the 1992 Turin Exhibition and Giugiaro explained the underlying approach: a miniature car about 2 meters long, one and a half meters tall with access from the rear door and hybrid traction (electric with a small diesel engine); not merely a “city car”, rather a “city own car” which the city administration or other body can make available to the general public; the “city own car” project includes dedicated parking spaces, rentals on a hourly basis and payment by credit card.
The whole system has been worked out in detail. Another challenge ready to come true.

It looks like a Port a Potty on wheels. :p
Still, I like the fact that someone tried to solve the space issue with cars and fuel economy.

and to think that people called the smart fortwo funny.

What a stupid place for a door. I see it has tires meant for a 5 year old's bike. Interesting concept though.
