Whay Japanese ?
Have you thought about a kit car ?
You can get a Quantum for about a grand, you'll be about 600 for insurance (:() and you'd have a car that can beat the ass of any wannabees :)
With 2 years to go, you coudl buy a kit and build it yourself. By doing that you'll learn how it all works and how to maintain the car. Look for SUKA's posts on his kit project.
Citroen Saxo and Pug 106/206 are good entry cars and second hand prices are cheap-ish and LOTS of stick on bits if you liek the "ricer" look. You've 2 years to look aroudn for a good deal or 2 buy a dead one and spend the time replacing the bits that broke ( Saxo's get their heads revved off by 'ricers' and can be got with vlown engines real easy :) )
Classic Mini's are still something everyone should drive at SOMETIME in their life to be able to judge all others :)
Coudl you really stand the embarrassment of driving around in a Nissan Micra ?? :(
Corsa good choice, especially if you already have a burberry cap :)

Personally I think a french supermini will be your best bet. Which one is a completley different question that I cant answer :D

Totally agree. but ricers make the world go round.
-
i thought fat bottomed girls make the rocking world go round? :p
-
"Vauxhall Corsa. Show the world you know nothing about cars."
If you wanna do Japanese, the Toyota Echo is all right, I hear.
-
I dont want anything like that, and i can start with a Vauxhall Corsa, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 but i dont like them, WAY to common, sorry, i like something like a Honda Civic, something better than a corsa, my freind has one a 1.4 and he says that nova's are passing him quicker than he can go, i dont know if they are the sport version of Nova but oh well, so come on name somemore cars

Well they only seem to make it go up and down the street with a LOT of noise and stickers :(
-
lol, i like ricers but not the hardcore ones like big 6 exhausts loadzzzzzz of stickers, i like little ricing bits like a body kit and maybe some recardo seats, just minor things, but i still dont know what to start with please help !!!!!!!!!!
-
recardo seats
hehe was that a typo or is recardo a ricer offbrand? :D
-
lol funny you :P oh well maybe i am a ricer, but i am not a hardcore ricer, i mean i like riced cars, but not the really loads riced ones
-
Recardo, Momo, Sparco, Spoon. . . ect. . .
^^ None of that is rice, its just commonly used by ricers... In realite they make very nice car parts.
-
Lol i know they are very nice parts, and i am goin to get a drink at this exact moment in time how funny is that, haha, not very i guess :P
-
its recaro, not recardo...
