Truck sales have gone down from 54% to 51%...not that much shifting...

I was actually suggesting that it's shifting towards imports. Isn't Toyota no.2?
Then there's this: "the low-price end of the small-car market is up 42.2%"- http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/2006-12-12-small-cars-usat_x.htm?csp=34
Still, they are a very small percent of sales, but they are growing in popularity.
Would you invest in Peugeot anticipating their sucess Mr. Tiv?
What? The 407 Coupé looks sooooooo good! I love that car, I think I'd prefer own one to a BMW M3 or a Mercedes CLK 500...
That's the problem Peugeot will be faced with; the BMW, MB, Lexus and to a lesser extent Infiniti, Acura, Audi , etc. juggernaut.
Is the 407 FWD? If so, a FWD for $40K; I don't see any takers.
It is a looker, tho...:)
Yay! I wanna get a Peugeot!
Peugeot sells it's full line in Mexico, if anyone in the US is curious enough, all you have to do is cross the boarder and head for the nearest dealer. :)
Hmmm, a properly rebuilt (it is an old Italian turbo afterall) one of those, in an old GTV coupe, maybe with a Junior front, and a 6spd, :D
This had it.

200bhp, 146mph... ;)
Oh and I personally like current Citorens, but not much Peugeots, I think their design theme has gone terribly wrong with those big mouths...
Peugeots are too pretty to be slod in america.
Not to mention americans wont even be able to say the name properly...

Volvo's and Saab's are mostly FWD.

Yes...but Peogeot has no pickups...or big SUVs...

Peugeot has recently introduced their first SUV, the 4007.
There is something about the modern day Peugeot's that I don't like. Even though they are very common in Finland, French have still got a reputation here for not being able to handle the winter properly.
Anyway, I think Peugeot's might have a chance in the States, they'll never be market leaders and many Americans wouldn't ever consider buying one. But I think there is a market for it.
Not to mention americans wont even be able to say the name properly...
Ever wondered why Brits call them Pug's?

Hmm, Im sure that will get some sales...
It all depends on the marketing now I guess...

My parents were interested in the Renault Megane when I showed them the MPG info :p I told them all they gotta do is go to Mexico :)
