Sports cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani to cross the RM Arizona block ...

Just like every year, the 2020 auction season will kick off later this month in Scottsdale, Arizona. Today we commence our coverage with a look ahead at the RM Sotheby's Arizona sale by highlighting four Italian sports cars. The absolute headliner of the sale is this Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet. One of just 40 built, this example is offered from a single ownership of over two decades. Having spent most of its life in the United States, chassis 0931GT was actually delivered new to Italy and is featured in the 1958 Ferrari year book.
Owned by a single owner for even longer is this Ferrari 250 Europa GT. It was sold new to Jan de Vroom, who was an avid racer and a silent partner in Luigi Chinetti's North American Racing Team. The azure blue Ferrari fittingly spent its early life on the French riviera where De Vroom had one of his houses. In more recent years, the early 250 GT was restored to its original colours.
Of the cars featured today, this Lamborghini Miura SV is offered from the single longest ownership as the current custodian acquired the car in 1979. At that time, it had just been upgraded by legendary Lamborghini engineer Claudio Zampolli to dry sump specifications.
Virtually brand new is the Pagani Huayra Roadster in the sale. Offered by the first owner, it has a mere 200 miles on the odometer.
