What do you guys think
I saw this car online, from the picture and comments provided, tell me what you guys think about it. I'm thinking about buying this car since its cheap and its still a Supra, I plan on leaving it stock if I get it anyway, 320HP is more than enough.
1998 Quicksilver 6-Speed with Black interior. It has only 32K miles. Very rare and hard to find LOW MILEAGE Quicksilver. The car is in immaculate condition. Just like new. Car is 100% Stock.
The price is $9500 btw. Im not sure if its in US or Can dollars though, if it is in US dollars, its $10500 Can.

make sure it isn't a scam :)
is it a turbo? if so go for it. if not...go for it anyway :D i know one person here supercharged their N/A supra for something different :)
-
yea it is a twin turbo. I already contacted the guy, he said he needs the money to cover problems he's had. Im just thinking of reasons why he would be selling it for such a low price. As far as I know this car should be worth at least $20000 US.

trust me, seriously on this. many members know my story.
If its too good to be true. It is.

Thats a terriable price so Id like the owners number. BUy it and have fun that cars worth about 40k in the us.

Could it only have 32K miles because it was twisted in a crash and took that long to get back to looking properly? I'd be extremely wary.

i'd go see it in person before deciding

Carfax the VIN see if anything fishy pops up, um although I don't know how Carfax works. But yeah check it out very well before buying, maybe even take a mechanic to look at it with you.

I'm quite sure there is BS lying in that deal somewhere.

Thanks for the comments guys. One problem with going to see the car is that I'm here in Toronto and the car is in the US, so I would have to make special time to go see it on the weekend. One other little concern, have any of you noticed the eBay logo in the bottom righthand corner?

Do you have a link to the online sale?
-
If that's the supplied photo and it's not off eBay, it's dodgy as

Call him up. Ask him about the VID, location, and why the price is SO low.
BTW: I would say with 90% confidence that it is spam or is broken/not running.

Why is he selling it on Auto-Trader Canada if he's in the US?
