I don't like breakfast in general. Have never been a fan of eggs outside of baking.

I don't necessarily ENJOY the eggs in fried rice but I eat them regardless.

its all about the brine. check alton brown's recipe for turkey. made it a few years ruinning, and its the best turkey ive eaten. but when it comes down to it, there is no reason to eat turkey other than tradition (barring turkey lunch meat on a sammitch).

I'm an avid Good Eats watcher. ;)
I guess what I meant was that turkey requires way too much work for it to be delectable. Like you said, deli meat or holidays is it's best purpose.

I was tempted to buy a set of his Shuh Alton Knives a month or so ago when they came up on woot.com. Think it was a set of 7 for $279 or so and they retail for MUCH more than that.
EDIT: It was $249 and came with a bamboo block. 5 bucks shipping
What about elk meat? ;)
For those who haven't tried it, it's a lot like beef, but a lot leaner.

Or bison for that matter. Bison burgers are amazingly juicy and tender with very little fat. I chose lamb though, lamb is absolutely divine. Roasted rack of lamb, or lamb shanks braised for hours are amazing. Also, lamb burgers, with tzatziki.
That said, I'll eat almost anything and I don't think I've tried an animal that I don't like yet. Anyone else tried horse meat? Food is amazing.
