If you look in my W.I.P. for this car, I've mentioned everythin' there! Someone else asked the same question!
I've jus' finished my Isuzu, and I am so proud to be able to show you guys! This one is for Fujimi, because I cannot fault this kit at all! It was an awesome build, a lot of delicate parts on the...
Does anyone know whether the colour for this car was a pearl blue colour? I think Tamiya have the colour right, with what they specify a solid blue. This other guy begs to differ with me!
Thanks Henk4, but I may suffer a mental breakdown in tryin' to do it! Can you imagine, tryin to keep the chrome trim the same width all the way around, with the black paint:confused: ! After I read...
I've hand-painted the front and rear window trim, jus' leavin' the rubber seal showin'! I didn't use an airbrush 'cos I feared the maskin' tape would tear away at the black trim! All the images i've...
Here is my oldschool dash! Jus' wish I had some flock, but, i've now put in an order for it with Hobbylinc, they have a lot of colours on offer, so I ordered a *hitload!
...
It cost me 2,500 yen for the kit, and 1,500 yen for the EMS shipping charge, totalling 4000 yen. Now get this overall cost in £'s is £19. Now that is cheap! I'm always orderin' from 'em, jus' don't...
I ordered it from HobbyLink Japan. They're pretty quick, took about 6 days by EMS post to get here!:)
Well, basically this is the chassis finished, except for the rims, which i've ordered from HLJ and are currently bein' shipped! Fujimi's chassis is beautiful in it's simplicity! I've jus' added some...
Thanks, Exoto's looks like it's done by a machine, because if you look carefully at their old Porsche 935's, the pattern of weatherin' is exactly the same! W-work I-in P-progress.
The exhaust has been fitted! I've tried to simulate a bit of corroding and general degradation on it, but i'm not sure it looks the part though!
...
I've started the chassis, pretty simple, nothin' much to speak of, apart from the fact that the detail is moulded in! I've weathered it as usual, but this time I've used a very soft 9B pencil. I used...
I know, I'd really like to start wiring engines, kind of make my modelling skills more rounded, but not exactly complete!
No, I've never competed, and I'm not a member of any model club!
The decals that come with this kit are superfine and are really nice to work with! They really start to make this body come alive!
...
Yeah, I've used the stuff! I found it awkward and incredibly fiddly! You always get the inevitable crease. I prefer a uniform finish with paint, than have a crease in my chrome!
Nice, I wish we had somethin' goin' on like this in my country!
The window trim has been painted in! I masked it and hand-painted the trim, for the sides I used Chrome and Semi-Gloss Black, and for the front and back I used Flat Black.
...
I've started this one! It's a nice crisp mould, and very good tooling by Fujimi! I've laid down some paint, TS-12, and then polished it out. The kit came with decals for the hood, but I chose to give...
Yeah, the Honda stock rims are horrible and boring to look at, these ones I've fitted are 18" rims in scale. Anythin' bigger will never fit this car!
Well here it is! I hope you all like it! My camera still has a problem with the colour red, in the side on shots!

Yeah, I'll give 3M a go, I think! Thanks for the heads-up, Kona, on that one! No masks came with this kit, because this is an older kit! Tamiya masks are super-easy to apply. Turn it over on it's...
Clear parts have been completed, and my finger marks have been cleaned and polished with some Beeswax Polish. Jus' gotta' install 'em now!
...
Yep, that's jus' what I do, if there is any rough or irregular edge, a toothpick works wonders! This is the type of masking I was talkin' about! Lucky I used to work as a signwriter, huh?
...
I've started paintin' in the window trim by hand. Basically I mask off the trim, but for a curved window trim, I cut a very thin piece of maskin' tape, so that it is much easier to bend and make...
