The Viper has headers and exhaust, so stock for stock, I bet they would be much closer.... I recently took the E55 to RENNtech...

Incredible car so far....

AMG offers the widest range of performance cars.... having an AMG model with almost every line of their cars....... BMW and Audi having nothing to run up against a CL65, S65, SL65, C55, ML63,...

I rented the dragstrip for a few of us.... E55's, CLK's, SLK55K, M5's, 911 turbo s, ctsv, c6, etc....

Check out the M5 with nitrous, chip, filters, running mid 11's @ 126..... mostly stock M5...

if the NA 55 motor fits in the C55, the 55k would fit, the kompressor just sits on top of the intake manifold.... kleeman has compressor packages for the C55....

there won't be a C65, but there...

I'm sure better times are possible, but I'm not so sure it will be able to pull the E55....

I had a 3000GT VR-4..... AWD is great if you're ready to drop the clutch for an all out launch..... of course, with the stock clutch, I would only get to do that 10 times or so...... and then all...

I think the Enzo is the best looking car out.....

oh really, the only competiton Porsche can provide right now is the Carerra GT, and how much does that cost?? please!

that is impressive for a stock production car under warranty..... for a reasonable price..... sure you can get 505HP out of a 2 liter 4 banger, but for how long? and who will warranty and support...

definately did..... don't miss the 545 either...


Items that the M45 has and the 545i does not are:

Cooled Venilated Seats, not just ventilated
Plays DVD Movies on front screen and rear...

yea, 545i was a little quicker, I like the M45 much better though....

no, I've had it for 5+ years..... I did see it up on ebay a while ago... someone wrote me and pointed me to the auction..... ebay took it down pretty quickly....

yea, I've seen a couple of RX-7s with motor swaps like that.... A supercharged LS1 in there would push it along nicely..... I suppose it would have quite an adverse effect on the balance and...
