    I see your point but I wouldn't want to drive it off a track for the very reason it doesn't have a body. I would pick the Elise, Caterham and the Shelby AC Cobra.

    I'd vote for either a BMW CSL, Ferrari 360 CS, Porsche GT3 RS, Caterham 7 Evo 500, Lotus Elise 111R, the already mentioned Nobles and TVRs etc. etc. etc.

    When I think pure sportscar, I think something that puts lightweight, high-power and dynamics before anything else.

    All of the above should do quite nicely as track-cars that you can use on the road.

    i think if your going Z car, than the 240z is way more pure.

    but im thinking maybe the exige.
