Without those wheel covers, still crap.

Would you say you liked this generation Aston Martin design over the current generation's design - or is this car specific?
Well this generation only really had the DB7... so I like this particular generation of Aston styling.

The problem with the current Astons is that, apart from not looking at good as the DB7, they all look the same. I'd still buy a DB9 though.

Can't agree with you, the DB9 is pretty but..... this is also pretty in it own way.
Wheelcaps are a bit cheap I will give you that. But what is wrong with the mirrors ??? They are just mirrors. luckily they are no M3 rip off mirrors

I like derekthetree, it was a good generation for Ferrari - the two cars staying with one theme. Now, ifonly you shose the car that is 101 less than the 456... :

EDIT: Sorry for the madness. This was supposda be in the above post but I clicked the wrong thingy twice I think.

The 456 GT isn't bad at all I reckon. But that Aston is as good if not better. And there's also the Maserati 3200GT with it's gorgeous boomerang lights. Or the BMW Z8. Too much choice...

Or how about the peoples hero? The Alfa Romeo 156. As I said too much choice to decide on just one.

    Aston Martin DB7 GTS

The DB7 GTS was a special edition of the 6 cylinder DB7 especially commissioned and built for Aston Martin Sales of Mayfair. The conversion work was carried out by the independent specialists in DB7's, Chilton Aston (aka Car Care Works) of Hertfordshire. Not only have new cars been converted but previously owned models can have the modifications retro fitted. Both Coupe and Volantes were have been converted to GTS specification. It is possible to see DB7's which have had some GTS / GTS II features retro fitted, but all 'true' cars have the 'Zagato' style bulges with louvers.

    • Air louvers set into twin 'Zagato style' bonnet bulges
    • Window quarters and scuttle panel painted body colour
    • Black 'Le Mans' style mesh grille with bright surround
    • Speedline Aliseo split rim wheels with body coloured centres (also Mistral available)
    • Yellow nose cone and fine coachline
    • Sports exhaust system
    • White instrument dials with GTS logo and a wood rimmed steering wheel (half wood on airbag wheels)
    • Yellow edged overmats
    • Additional wood veneers around the instruments plus a Garrard Swiss analogue clock
