If you want to drive a GT-R come to Canada, I see them quite regularly, that, Fairlady Z's, Silvia's and Soarer's... and they're rather cheap! You can buy a GT-R in very decent condition for $10k CDN. 15-year old import rule ftw.
I think Im moving to Canada...I think we have like a 25yr old rule here in the USA...that sucks...plus I want a 240sx, and hell if I get it I gotta swap the engine and everything and I dont have that kinda of dough...so I would much rather just have an S15 or S14 Silvia, then the engine problems would be taking care of....haha...here is that pic of that car...I was stupid, its not Tanabe...Its SIGNAL AUTO GTR drift car...heres some pics & a Video...Im sure you've seen it b4 though...pretty cool...

Yep, the RWD Skyline's are better drifters than the GT-R's.

I have a friend who owns a R32 GT-R and another one who owns a R32 GTS-t, and having tried both I'd say the GTS-t is easier to get sideways, since the AWD on the GT-R just holds you way too firmly on the tarmac to even hope getting properly sideways
That's the problem with foru wheel drive cars.

Jeremy Clarkson on the telly in a race track or deserted runway may make it look easy but on a road to make a 4WD car go sideways you have to reach pretty scary speeds.

    That's why RWD = win.

bear in mind the the RB20det was only for the R32 GTS-T's (well, and the R31's not fitted with an RB30)

first, you mean Aston not Austin, I hope
second, the GT-R is whatever you want, but nothing comparable to an Aston Martin or a Lamborghini. they could have similar power's level, and that's all
third...since when there is an import tuner history?!
    fourth: welcome on board

since the 240Z or something one would assume..actually, he didn't say jap import so the middle east or new zealand and similar, everything is an import! haha
although the people who tune jap imports tend not to see outside their bubble.

No, he means that the Datsun has about the same appeal as a beige Austin Princess.
