    Goodwood Breakfast Club Thoroughbred Sunday

    Hi All

Here's a few pics from a recent Breakfast Club held at Goodwood Motoro Racing Circuit. For those unfamiliar, this is the same place as the Revival in the UK! On the first Sunday of ~9 months of the year (occasionally shifting by a week for the flagship events) there is a free show to which anybody can come and display should they have a vehicle matching the theme of the day, and anybody at all can come and wander around. Hooray! (The fact that's a cracking blast along back roads with no traffic at 5 am for me is neither here nor there...)

The full set of photos can be found here:

    I hope you enjoy!

    Regards

    Andy

    More and more...

Please help me identify the maroon Maserati! It's driving me potty...thanks!

Also, R-R pickup conversion...good, bad or plain ugly?! I should've put a poll on this thread...

The Maser might be a 450S, but the bodywork is unlike any I've seen. Beautiful low-drag E-Type and Lusso! Goodwood is definately on my bucket list.

I really like the Rolls-Royce pickup conversion. Even if only as a novelty, I think it would be a lot of fun to cruise in.

I can't think of anything I love more than looking at pictures of beautiful classic sports cars. Thanks a bunch!

Damn, I love that 250 TdF, and the Grifo too. You've got some good shots there.

The Revival will be in about two weeks time. See you there

The 'Maserati' looks more like a poorly constructed replica.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Judging by the typical rollcage and vents on the sides it could be some Maserati inspired (and engined) special. But that's only a supposition.

Love these pics! I think my favorite is the Lusso, but the Aurelia is great too and also the Jags.

    On the 5th picture of the 1st post, is that a 1960's Ferrari 250 GTO? (I think it's 250)
I hope it is becuase that has to be the most beautiful Ferrari ever made.

Unfortunately not! Much as I would love to, prior engagements have kept me away for yet another year! I'm planning to do the Goodwood Double next year though...
