Nice indeed. I've always wondered this, but do the first two digits in the registration number (in this case 31) indicate the year it was first registered in? I've noticed this about a lot of cars with French plates (older plates that is).

This car was produced in 1931, but I think it's a coincidence. My car's plate is 5698 ... 78.
