The Porsche 997 with its distinctive design and its extensive equipment is one of the most interesting offers in the sports car class.

edo competition refines the new Porsche 997 with elegant shaped and aerodynamical efficient bodywork-components. the front-spoiler-lip gives the 997 not only a sporty looking face, but also the more downforce at high speeds at the front axle. An attractive feature is the integrated spoiler at the back, made from GFK. The grill-inlays are available in silver or black.
As a highlight we have to look at the new rear bumper variant, which edo competition developed. Optional you can get it also in "Turbo-Look" with cooling-openings at the side.
The edo competition team also developed a special rear spoiler. The experience from motorsport was devolved to the street. For sporty drivers it is now possible to get more downforce through the rear spoiler and to optimize the roadabilities.
An adjustable suspension allows individual settings and has got 14 different settings. Race-technology for the road.
Spacers for getting a wider track (front 15mm/rear 18mm) help the Porsche 997 to a sportier road-ability without losing comfort.
Also a special exhaust-system is available. A fan-manifold (right word?), power-optimizing sport-catalysers and 2 different available types of loudness of the exhaust-system, all made out of stainless steel.
The sport-exhaust is custom-made available for the 3.6 and the 3.8 litre versions and gives the engine not only better sound, but around 20 more hp.
If you also change the motor-electronics and use a sport-air-cleaner there are all-in-all aroung 30 more hp then in the standard car possible.
Also available: alloy wheels! Exciting looks and more agile handling are the main characteristical attributes of the racing alloy wheels for the Porsche 997. The 3 parted 18", 19" or 20" wheels with hand-polished stainless steel outsides and optional cast iron or forged steel inlay are using the room within the wheel arches perfectly.
Inside the are alloy pedals, which are showing the sporty purism at its best.
There is also a gear-shiftway-shortening (again: right translation?) of 35%, which means: more exact shifting and sportier driving experience
