They'll probably be a more reliable outfit than Williams have been this year, and as a Renault engine partner, it opens doors for a move to them in following years. It's probably a smart move really.

Which immediately ends all oppurtunities for the most talented driver out there... Robert Doornbos C.Klien also needs to go looking for a new job... Both were told they still had a big chance until the end(yesterday).Thereby destroying all chances really for a good negotiating position what a ****er that team boss isOriginally Posted by SlickHolden
Well Matesitch has made no secret about wanting the fastest drivers available for RBR and with Kimi only interested in McLaren, Ferrari or Renault, Webber becomes arguably the highest profile driver on the market now.Originally Posted by drakkie
It also rules out Massa joining one of the RB squads if Kimi joins Ferrari whilst MS stays on and doesnt retire.

Agreed. Being Dutch doesn't make you drive 15% faster than everyone else.Originally Posted by fpv_gtho

I feel sorry for the poor bloke being the first Pole in the sport. Karthikeyan claimed most people back in India didnt understand why he barely got off the back of the grid but i think Poland, being part of mainland Europe, would have a fairly high understanding of how F1 works.

i may be a bit bias about Aussie Mark being an aussie myself. but i agree that RBR will be strong next year with either ferrari and Reunalt engines and let us not forget about the engine freeze for 2008, not sure about that, all that development that has been going on over the past 50 years will be gone. ok to stop the pase increase yeah sure but where is the fun in that.
whats everyones view on that engine freeze? i'm very interested to see if other people feel the same way.
