    ^^^ The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is the last none direct injection 911 isn't it? Great car. I saw it at GoodWood on sataday, it looks and sound good.

    No, I think they're directly injected, I think it's the last 911 to share a block with the 911 that won Le Mans, but I could be wrong.

    ^^^ Because it's the engine is up from 3.8 to 4.0 it's basically the engine from the RSR racer. Porsche say it's likely to be the last non-direct injection porsche.

    It's the last Metzger-designed 6. That engine was made for competition and I don't believe it was direct-injection.

    The new engine is in all the non-GT cars and now that this one is being killed off, they'll have to try and make that special enough.

    Yea, it's definately not direct injected. Its roots are in the 911 GT1.
    Life's too short to drive bad cars.

    Are they moving to DI with the racecar? I believe other cars in the class is already going that way(Vette, Ferrari 458, BMW?)
