    When they do things like this, they are losing the essence of the Mini. Way back in the 70s, a buddy of mine used to run his mini -- red with a Union Jack on the top -- in Solo events. I loved that car because it made no pretenses. Even the original version of the new Mini was nice because it remained faithful to Sir Alec Issigonis' vision. But this car is trying to be something that it isn't...

    Awful, imo. Don't like the look of the convertible, the color of the paint, or the bodywork modifications.

    wow thats bloody cool! That has to be in the sub zero section on top gear Ultimate coolness for the street I love it! and for once, there is enough space in the backseats for 2 people! unlike the crappy peugeot 206 cc

    Plus it's much easier to actually post the site from where you got the pics than wasting your time to post all the pics because I know there are a lot.

    I don't know how many times it has to be said in here. The hi-res hide-out is not here to have unique material. It is a repository, a reference for hi-res pics. These pics may be found in other parts of the forums. However, the hide-out threads are named in such as way as to make them easy to sort and find exactly what you are looking for.

    90% of the pictures posted in here cannot be found in a public site at this res. They are from password-protected sites provided by the manufacturers.
