#25: Its f*cking Le Mans! The greatest race in history! If you're in Europe and you don't have to work, GO!

I haven't been following the teams well enough to make predictions about cars, but I will about marques:

LMP1: Peugeot. I'm just sick of seeing Audi win.
LMP2: Not the RS Spyder. Porsche has been too busy of late to do any real racing and instead they're spending all their money on crap my buying VAG. Don't think the Racing Gods haven't noticed.
GT1: Aston Martin. Now that Prodrive holds AM's reins they need to show that AM is a real sports car manufacturer and they can't look like their second rate at LM.
    GT2: Ferrari.

I think choosing the winning team is not challenging enough.

I say pick team AND which driver combination will win.

Yeah, you gotta pick the car number too, that will help break the possible ties if it was manufacturer only.

Didn't the Porsche Spyders get close to beating the LMP1 class in ALMS?

They beat them a a majority of the times last season and have won 2/4 this season.

Only because of how many tight circuits there are in the US...though Road America was an exception.

Spyder also won Mosport, THE fastest circuit in ALMS.....

To be fair ALMS' reg is a bit skewed compare to ACO allowing them a bit of a restrctor break. But the LMS races thus far suggest that the advantage might not be as big as some may believe, especially taking into account of the factory nature of the LMP2 teams in ALMS, and the much faster European circuit....

I heard they are partaking in the ALMS next season - that is what was said at the launch I believe. As for Le Mans, I dunno.

Are they gonna be factory entries?

In the future, I think it'd be cool to see Aston Martin, BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, and Porsche compete in a unified GT class.

    Next season.
And AC Schnitzer may run the European challenge.
