I still think the Sang Noir and the Pur Sang are the most beautiful cars ever. The other special editions makes the car look cheap. And if it weren't for the silver grills, this car would look like a toy.

Btw teatako, the Pegaso isn't an official special edition. It's a Veyron tuned by a rich Arab.

Along with a Pur Sang, Farbourg Par Hermes, Sang Noir, Mansory Vincenzo, Grand Sport and the "may or may not exist" Pegaso edition, of course.

No, they were in the 90s, while they made the EB110 and the few EB112s, but originally they come from Molsheim, France and there is the new factory also.

That is the perfect Veyron! Of course, they're only doing it to up the price a bit, but I still think that French Racing Blue is the perfect color for a Bugatti. Just as I prefer my AMs to come in British Racing Green, Ferraris in Rosso Corsa, and some of the old Danish Formula cars in silver with the two white and one red stripe along the bonnet, etc.

He's actually not Arabian. He's Ukrainian, but lives in the Burj Al-Arab and has numerous other sports-/super-/hypercars (pick the prefix that applies). (and the 1 license plate on the Veyron apparently cost him $15m).

    But I digress.

    Bugatti himself was italian, though.

There seems to be as many special additions of the Veyron as the Mustang.

Off topic, but you're pretty far off on that one. I see your point though.

Indeed, it's just for the S197. Barring the actual sales numbers, I find it rather amusing that there's more 'limited editions' out there than standard ones.

that car is hideous in french blue; the EB110, not exactly a beauty itself, looked far better

Well, as far as I know Italdesign built the 112. I seem to remember two production 112's being sold, one of which is currently in Geneva. Anyway, Italdesign/Giugaro did the 112 as well as the 118 and 218. The 112 with the 5.0 V12, and the latter two with VW derived W engines under the then new VW management. Then came the 18/3 Chiron.

I think you mean the last few EB110s, they were built by Dauer in Germany.

No, I was thinking of the 112, probably Rasmus gave the answer already.
