I like the GTR's styling but this looks wierd and i hate that low-to-the-ground bodykit look they should just lower the car. i hope its light and cheap(which it wont be ) also they should have drawn more from their mid 60s cars instead of their early 70s models

it should be sold as a Subaru world wide and as a Toyota in Japan, IIRC

I like it quite a bit. IMO, it's a great starting point and better than the current z or gtr.

That sounds confusing. Any reason why they should do that?

That's totally against Subaru's (general) marketing strategy- AWD comes standard. That should be damn confusing to Americans then.

Well, Subaru abandoned the "all AWD line-up" last year with the introduction of the new Justy, a merely re-badged Daihatsu Cuore, IIRC, so it wouldn't be strange. I'm unable to give you a better explanation, but it's what I read a lot of time ago, I guess on leftlanenews.

For some countries, maybe it isn't all AWD for Subaru already, but they're still completely AWD here in America. The Forester, Impreza, Legacy, and Tribeca are all AWD (maybe there are some FWD models, I am not sure of that). It would make more sense if Toyota pushed it out, because they seriously have no sports cars in their lineup, while Subaru safely has the STI. I mean it wouldn't matter who put it out, but it seems more logical for Toyota to do it.

I think this design looks fantastic. I loved the old 240z and this in my opinion is a great looking car. They'd have a customer in me if this came out.
