damn straight spastik, although the last couple of years we've had bushfires practically reach their worst on CHRISTMAS DAY!

i remember not that long ago being at my grandfathers for the power to go out, then the gum tree's down the back of his property along the creek started exploding

I'd rather not have summer christmas, cause then I'd have a 3 month 'summer' vacation with freezing temperatures. To me, snow is only fun for about hte first 2 weeks.

Christmas themes (ie santa, trees etc) have very little to do with Christianity any more. We have kindergartens in Australia who are now banning Christmas decorations and reference to it out of deference to other religions. Everyones lost the plot. Its a fun time for kids, I know I was one, so why have uptight adults ruin it out of political correctness. We are constantly expeted to respect other cultures and religions and other peoples individuality so how about a bit of slack. Would any Buddhists, Mulsims or Jews really care if the site hat a christmas tree. (by the way, what does the tree signify in the Christian sense?).
