I thought I'd just let everyone realise asap so that there wouldn't be two threads of designs.

    The Brief is:
Design the Ultimatecarpage "supercar" on a budget of $100,000USD

The Specification is technically what we need to fix:
    Engine
    'Box
Chassis - layout + type e.g. spaceframe, monocoque + materials
    Exterior styling
    Interior styling + trim
    Electronics
    Suspension
    Brakes
    Wheels/tyres
    Thanks for all the fish

Forgive me for being slightly ignorant in some regards to the car, but are we having a mid-engine RWD platform for the car? I was looking at the designs some people are coming up with and I just have to have a crack at it, so I need to know what layout we're having....

Lately I've been thinking about building a 2003 Bentley Speed8 inspired car. But the hardest part would be making the fiberglass body. I would be building it as a real drivers car, i.e., no computers, traction control, no abs, no radio,no a/c, but maybe a heater because it gets cold during the winter down here. As of now I still havent decided to build it or not.

If you do, hire the car for a weekend.
Then cover each panel in release agent and lay up glass-fibre and gel on the panels. Remove once hardened and voila ... cheap, accurate moulds for the panels for your own kit.
Rumour goes this is how the Dino Ferrari kit was done and a few others
