    Fanboys.

Everytime a two cars are compared to each other and one is a Ferrari, even if it is very close, if the Ferrari is judged better (even if its by a bee's dick) the Ferrari suddenly OWNED the competition. Its this mentality that annoys people. The F430 doesn't own the Gallardo.

The F430 is an incredibly accomplished machine, and technically the better car then the Gallardo. But it isn't by much. The Gallardo is still a damn good car, and has better looks, proportions and its more high tech, and would be easier to live with.

If this was 360vsGallardo then i would say 360 but the 430 is so ugly and stupid looking (did they put the "430" logo in enough places?) that i would say the lambo.

The Gallardo is easier to handle due to its AWD.
It's more of a challenge do master the full potential of the F430.

I like the styling of the Gallardo a lot better than the F430's. Although the F430 has better performance by just a little bit.

I wouldn't say so, as the new e-diff or whatever that debuted on the F430 is meant to make the car handle as surely as an AWD setup, as said by Ferrari themselves.

The Gallardo, I look for good looks in a supercar and the F430 is missing them.

like both, but very different in design. still gotta choose 430, the enzo back- and frontlights for example! a cool change from the 360. (plus the engine)

Well maybe Ferrari wishes their e-diff would work as good an an AWD
but EVO tested both and the AWD of the Gallardo still beats the e-diff.
The AWD ist just easier to drive. You don't have to be that carefull pushing your car
in a curve. With the F430 you have to know the car very well to handle it properly.
I'll see if i can scan the article...

both are great cars, looks wise and performance wise... but my money is on the ferrari.

whilst the gallardo is a greatly engineered car (thanks to audi), i feel that i has lost some of that lambo luster (tainted by german hands)... i think it's too soft, too laid back and thus no longer a real lambo (IMHO)...

ferrari on the otherhand are still living with their philosophy, what they learn on track, they apply on the road...

anyhow, there's no mistake in picking one from the other... both are sure winners.

Thats true Andy, ive driven my rwd Mustang and can slip the end out but my fwd Neon doesnt do that... very good point, you can probably drive the Gallardo harder through corners. But no the other hand, the Ferrari may be a more experienced drivers car,lol...
