    Next Gen Supra:

    Weight: Reduce 400-500Lbs
Engine: I6 350HP TT (Intercooler comes stock... Nice)

Just the basics right there. Keep the same looks (I love them) just improve the interior and head/tail lamps.

I'd quite like a Lexus V8 option in the new Supra aswell. To go along with a I6... Make it like the old Toyota Soarer (It had the 2JZ and the Lexus V8)

some pics are in the new motor trend, it looks like it will be a $100,000+, 450hp car. seems like an odd idea for a economy car company that doesn't have real sports car on the menu to begin with, marketing wise methinks. Probably not shooting for a tuner then.

do you think they should market it under the lexus badge then?
still , bad idea to give a 100000$ dollar car the name supra. it is not a supra.

i might stand alone here but when a car changes so drastically i think companies should be original and create a new identity.
I HATE IT when brands try to gain on theyr successive models by re-introducing COMPLETELY different cars and badging them after them.like the NEW Pontiac/Holden "GTO", or the NEW Ford "GT" and the list goes on and on....

Just curious, is the Supra in that 2nd pic that tuned Supra from SP Engineering?
If it is, then where did you find that pic? I love that Supra.

    Fibreglass body (cheap, quite light)
    N/A and Turbo variants
N/A running at about 245bhp using a 3 litre Celica engine
Twin Turbo running at about 320bhp @ 12 psi
Drilled discs all round .. green stuff pads
Interior options include cloth, leather and alacantara, sport seats and more
    Clutch and Gearbox from Celica
Lightweight Flywheel to improve from Celicas
Styling options include chrome pipes for engine bay, sports exhaust and high spoiler (like on previous supra)
Carbon fibre pack as an option (bonnet, interior etc)
Ill be happy with over 300 lb/ft torque
16" alloys standard, 18" option and 16" magnesium option for track days.
Pirelli P zeros seem to be fairly good on the Celica so Pz's as standard.
Dont care about differences between Jap, US and UK spec .. Ill end up importing one anyway because Japs always get the fastest
