haow are these comparable. We have a two seater convertable, a four seater( i think ) coupe, and a 5 seater saloon/limosine. ill take the BMW 645i plz

I remember reading, that the CL is faster than the SL.
The choice would be CL vs SL.
As i said before (in another thread) IMO the V12 fits into the CL and the V8 fits into the SL.
CL for me.

How is the cl faster than the sl. They have exactly the same enginecould be to do with the cl being heavier therefore sticking to the road better and being able to deliver more power onto the road. The 65 amg is pointless ans the 55 amg is not much slower

The SL's exhaust is more restrictive, meaning that it produces slightly less power and whatnot than the S and CL.Originally Posted by 6'bore

ok, the link between the cars is a V12 Bi-Turbo, i guess he means pick which car the engine was put in, was executed better?

I think Mercedes's gone too further with this V12, at least regarding the SL...the SL55 AMG is an optimum car for sunday out-door trip with the girlfriend and has enough power and torque to be funny even in a track-day.But I think that this engine is not that wrong on the S-Class...even if I think the respectable business man that can afford a 211.000 euros Limo must either be always in a hurry or love tracks (with a 2+ tons car?I really doubt it...
