    I thought Top Gear already tested the Veyron.

    Just to clear up the top speed issue - the top speed has been proven at VW's 5 mile straight - that's why no one will beat it's top speed: you can't go that quick round Nardo, only on VW's track - and I can't see them letting people on it anymore!

    No as VWs track is perfect, ideal flat stable tarmac.
    So MUCH lower rolling resistance than Salt Lake.
