looks kewl, but i know a few people that have NEW jaguar's and they tell me its always in the shop which leads me to the conclusion that jaguar cars must not be very reliable...

    Which Jags are they?

The mk1 S-Type is pretty reknowned for being a heap of something, and the X-type doesn't have a great reputation.

Having said that the S and XJ keep coming near the top in recent JD Power owner satisfaction surveys in the UK.

I'm sure that with the new S, XJ and XK they will be much better cars.
The XK will have to be good as it is signalling Jaguar's "new direction", lets hope that direction isn't towards the mechanic's bay.
    Thanks for all the fish

Birmingham NEC Sportscar Show by any chance??? I think that was an F-type and an XKSS parked together at the NEC. Were they on steel plinths with fancy railings around it? Are you from England? That could help

I think as it is a prototype it probably isn't all that lightweight.

The concept is lightweight, the actual car isn't.

That's pretty much what i had figured

BMW might as well hack 20kg off of the M6, charge 20% more, and call it a 1700kg "CSL"

    Sorry. I rant.
