But to answer the question I think that they probably will have trouble

does gall tt own a vanquish?
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

If Gal TT posts his VIN number you could ask the factory directly

I did kind of mean questions about the gearbox, rather than anyone's ownership of any cars. (Other than myself! DB9 please!)
    Thanks for all the fish

I meant about his gearbox, the factory will know which production run, what ECU version, the lot and can advise if any faults have been reported on them.

No I don't have a Vanquish. Many people(Jeremy Clarkson) says that the Vanquish gearbox is terrible. I just want to know whether it is really that bad.

I doubt it is that bad.

The problem on Top Gear and 5th Gear was probably that VBH tried to slow down from the 200mph attempt using the gears... no, that won't be bad for it at all.

I think all the problem is is that it doesn't shift that smoothly, and isn't as refined as examples from other manufacturers.

The gearbox is better in the S according to evo, but the red car that appeared on TG and 5th Gear was a press car, so might be runnning slightly different software/ setup to the actual production model.
    Thanks for all the fish

    Real mature everyone.

Look, this is one of the most-known car forums on the Internet, so of course, he's going to ask car people if they've had any problems with a specific car.

Gal TT, are you interested in one? To answer your problem, I suggest going and asking an Aston Martin Club. I've seen a few, and the last one I saw had many Vanquish owners. I suggest going here.
This is Aston Martin Owners Club
There is a forum to help you.
