How do you pronounce "Gemballa"??
UPC's most heavy Bawls drinker. :D
gim-balla
like, hes a balla, fo sho
and gimp, without the P
He came dancing across the water
With his galleons and guns
Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls
gem (not like gem, as in the pretty stones) balla (not like "he is a balla", but like ball pronounced more like its spelled boll) and then "a", pronounced like "ah"
this probably isnt right, lol , but who knows
"I'd hate to die twice. It's so boring" - Richard Feynman, last recorded words.
I would of thought you may have pronounced it Jim-Bel-a.
Maybe i'm just crazy.

but is the g hard as in Great or is it like a J

maybe its a silent g and a silent b- so it sounds like yemellah
wow that rolls off the tongue fun
Assuming that it is German, as at least the company is located there, the G is hard like in "great", and the a is like "ah" as in "hat". Both l's are pronounced like "l's" so there is no "tortilja" like pronounciation there.

then Germans will immediately spot you as being non-German (although I fear that this would not be the only word that would give you away )Originally Posted by danno

When your trying to type how you pronounce something, dont you usually use capitals for a hard sound and lower case for a soft sound?

Never heard of such a rule, but there is some logic in it.Originally Posted by fpv_gtho
