    How do you pronounce "Gemballa"??

    gem (not like gem, as in the pretty stones) balla (not like "he is a balla", but like ball pronounced more like its spelled boll) and then "a", pronounced like "ah"

    I would of thought you may have pronounced it Jim-Bel-a.

    Assuming that it is German, as at least the company is located there, the G is hard like in "great", and the a is like "ah" as in "hat". Both l's are pronounced like "l's" so there is no "tortilja" like pronounciation there.

    When your trying to type how you pronounce something, dont you usually use capitals for a hard sound and lower case for a soft sound?
