My thoughts exactly. You could compare the Sixteen with the Veyron for example, because of the horsepower output.
And then you can compare the 62 with....saaaaaayyy.....the Mercedes S500? Probably cause of its Luxury.
Like this, you learn to compare. You can NEVER compare two cars if you don't have a comparison table. Eg. Price, Luxury, Horsepower, Weight etc and things like that.

Compare the Sixteen to the Veyron? Are you kidding? Just because the 16 has lots of horsepower does not mean it's a supercar. The Veyron seats two, the Cadillac 16 Concept probably seats like...SIX. If it were produced, the Maybach 62 would be it's DIRECT competitor.
The Maybach 62 is WAYYYY out of the Mercedes S500's league. Anyone about to purchase an S500 is probably not considering purchasing a Maybach. I think it's like a $250,000 price difference between the two.
I see nothing wrong with this comparison, except for the fact that the Cadillac 16 is only a concept.
I'd choose the Maybach. Horsepower means little to me in these type of cars. I probably wouldn't be driving me anyway.
