Converses do have a funky, one-of-a-kind style, which I hate. Therefore, I'll choose nice, tan colored timberlands. Good boots, and quite nice-looking with a good pair of jeans.

dont see how you can compare the two, totally different types of footware.

but ill take timberlands. i have a pair of timberland pro series, pretty much exactly like those ones sum1 posted. they are great. theyre really comfortable to wear all day, and they are waterproof and very rugged. they have a steel toe and will last you as long as you fit into them. they also look great, imo. ive been getting a pair of timberland boots every winter for the last few years and i love em. they keep you toes toasty warm when your walking through snow while your firends are getting their feet soaked in their sneakers. timbs all the way.

Black Spot sneakers are the ultimate:

Basically the only type of shoe you can buy in North America that wasn't produced immorally.

My shoes are quite similar to these. Only differences being my shoes are nearly all black w/ the N being white and accented w/ silver.

never had tims, so until then, im undecided. altho the ConV's are very cushoiny and supportive on ur feet. Walkin in snow in them is real easy, as well as playin ball in them is fun (bcuz of them being extremely comfortable)

chucks all the way.. but you have to be a little more specific with saying converse. i assume youre talking about the all-star, but i have always preferred the one-star. the dr. j's are also rather awesome.
