Audi A8 Receives an Award from the Allianz Research Centre for Technology

Certified security: the Audi A8 is the first vehicle worldwide to receive the “Certified Security” quality seal from the Allianz Zentrum für Technik (AZT – Allianz Centre for Technology). “For our customers, this award is visible confirmation of the high-level ‘invisible’ anti-theft system built into the A8,” said Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Chairman of the AUDI AG Board of Management, during the AZT certificate award ceremony.
Before it issues an award, the renowned Allianz research institute tests five areas that are fundamentally important for efficient theft protection: the electronic immobiliser design, how well the anti-theft systems are protected against manipulation, continuous monitoring of security-related spare parts distribution, the manufacturer’s extensive evaluation and analysis options in the event of a theft and other additional security and protection components.

well she can get the A8 with out the long wheel base...its about 5' shorter
