Sa-weet.
I like how they pretty much left the body alone and just lowered it and made real fast.
they did a good job on that car, does it have good handling. because a car with horse power is nothing without handling. . . .during races that is.

It's an evil looking car, but i like the mallet and lingenfelter CTS-V's much more. Why? I think they both have 427 big blocks.
Im pretty sure its 427 small blocks.Originally Posted by mopar68

the new 427's are small blocks, back in the muscle car heyday of muscle cars for chevy it usually was 350 or anything made wiht them, was a smallblock, anything bigger was a big block.

GO HABS GO!
I did not know that. Thank you clearing that up. I just assumed they were big blocks.Originally Posted by johnnynumfiv
Yea, the LS7 (427ci, 7.0L) is based on the same LS2 block (6L). Its actually physically smaller due to having a dry sump oil system.Originally Posted by mopar68
All the mags call the LS2 a big-block and the LS1 a small-block. It's what, .3 liter? I believe the '06 will have an LS2, while the '05 has a C5 Z06 enigine. So I guess 427's from LS2's are big-block 427's and from LS1's are small-block ones. I believe the Lingenfelter will be around 600hp, that's hawtness.
What magazines call the LS2 a BB? I havent seen any...Originally Posted by Smokescreen
The 2005 Corvette has an LS2, as well as the 2005 GTO.
The LS7 is a small block, even chevy calls it that.
