As well as all the obvious one , Stones, Floyd, Moody Blues, Deep Purple, Alex Harvey Band, Stranglers, Blondie ... oh the list is LONG.

Added Scissor Sisters recently. Love the album and they are SUPERB live - they played Edinburgh on hogmanay

    Depends which style IMHO

I love some of the greats - Gillespie, Parker and blues too - Billie Holliday and newer ones - Madelaine Peyroux.

I hated the "avant" Jazz that happened through the 80s/90s whre it all just was a cacophany of sounds as everyoen tried to show how quickly and louldy they coudl play. There's a lot more jazz now in the 'trad' style that I'm liking from modern bands and soloists. Jools Holland is great

Listen to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/netwo...o3/jazzlegends for a great BBC radio Jazz show

I mostly listen to the "guitar heros" and Hendrix, Floyd, Led Zep, Metallica, etc. I am going to see Steve Vai and Joe Satriana in April. Super stoked for that.
