    Links in Signatures?

I think we should be able to have links in out signatures. As you can see in my signature, I am trying to link to my photography. I had to keep shortening the message to fit the "500 characters" rule. What happens if I take more photographs in the future and I don't have enough room? It would be really convienient to be able to link to pages instead of having to put in the URLs or revive an old thread and say, "Hey! I added more pictures! Go check em' out!" every time I take more pictures and put them online. Plus more people would see my pictures. I'm sure many of the members on here agree about this for whatever reason. Maybe they want to put there home page in thier sig. So I ask you mods, can we put links in sigs.? Or are we doomed to the linkless sig. forever?

I tried it also, it did not work, I was given the reason for that, which was quite plausible, but I now forgot it.

    I'm ambivalent on that.

Use tunyurl to give you a short link to the big one - http://tinyurl.com/

I think that we should be allowed to use code in our sigs, so we can put pics imn them and stuff.

It would have a downside, more people would have a ad in there sig, and it would distract us from Ucp.

    NO WAY>
    It woudl destroy UCP>
As soon as kiddies start putting "cool" images in their sigs the whoel thing ends up stinking.
it's near impossible to read anything and follow a discussion.
Keep that sheeat for kiddie forums.
How did I guess you'd liek it Karrmann ??
PLEASE compare a thread on UCP on a technical detail or sharing REAL pictures with ones that let eeryoen have pics. Go see that poxy forum the caddi brothers tried to set up.
    NO WAY.

I voted no, it would scream for attention in a thread similarly to the way sig pics would.

Actually, I wouldn't mind links if they were 'clickable' but not underlined and in blue text. Would it be possible to have the links appear as normal unformatted text on v3 forums? I don't like the look of links, stick out like a sore thumb to me.
