Ive played the demo of this and I wasnt impressed. All of the cars sound 2d and the only real difference in sound is Muscle cars .. but still not a huge difference. The driving experience isnt anything inspiring and the menus etc are un-involving. They dont understand that part of the success of Gran Turismo is the way that you go to dealerships and modifiying brands to buy stuff and loads of other things for added realism like a car wash.

did you read the article on IGN a few days ago? they compared the preview build of forza to GT4.
they said pretty much every car sounded like they should. they also said the driving physics were actually better than GT4.
btw. keep in mind, this demo build is from E3 last year.
you can do the same things in forza. theres hundreds of different (real life) parts you can buy for your car. you can trade, or buy cars online with different people, and get cars that are not from your native area. so if you start in europe you obviously cant buy a corvette from the dealership. you have to go online and buy a second hand one from somebody who started in america. These things were obviously not there because its a demo.

theyre probably one of the more respected gaming sites out there.
anyway from the previews, it sounds like everyone is saying the same thing about physics and sounds.
