    How to play !!

    ___________________________________

All you have to do is pick EIGHT drivers (two each from Groups A-D) and FOUR constructor teams (two each from Groups E and F) who you think will perform best over the 19-race season.

You can check all the stats on individual drivers and constructor teams by checking back here their the final race positions will be posted.

Your F1 Dream Team selections will score valuable points - or lose them - depending on how they perform in each Grand Prix. The better they do, the better your F1 Dream Team does. Check out the crucial scoring rules here, they will be posted on the following monday after the race weekend.

There is also a mid-game Pitstop that allows you to change up to THREE of your original selections. During the Pitstop you can make up to THREE changes to your selections. The Pitstop will take place halfway through the game, between the French and British Grand Prix in July. The exact dates will be announced nearer the time

If any of your selections in the driver groups leave or do not race for their constructor teams for any reason, their replacement will automatically take the place of your selection. Their replacement will start to score points for you with immediate effect.

For example, if you have selected Michael Schumacher in Group A and he moves to Williams, your Group A selection will become the driver who replaces
M Schumacher at Ferrari. If this happens, the points M Schumacher has scored for your team will be frozen on your overall score and he will no longer score points for you (unless he moves back to Ferrari during the 2005 F1 season).

If, however, your original Dream Team selections also included Juan Pablo Montoya, who moves to Ferrari in a switch with M Schumacher, then Montoya will score points for you as your Group A driver and Schumacher will score points for you as your Group B driver.

Remember, your replacement driver(s) will only score points for you from the date at which they become your replacement driver(s). Any points they have scored before that date will NOT be added to your score. If any of your selections in the constructor team groups stops racing for any reason, the points that selection has accumulated for you will be frozen on your overall score.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

My "dreamteam" is in. I think the selections in each group are too obvious- perhaps we should choose one from each group or something.

I disagree, the choice between Raikkonen and Montoya for example is a difficult one.

    Time's up?
Would it be possible, to play forever?
The conclusion reached was that a player is inevitably doomed to lose.

Actually the Jordan was pretty much ad-free.
