Western Union

I've never dealt with western union so maybe some of you have and can help me out.

I hear western union is pretty good but when doing a money transfer, can you pay them cash to do the money transfer and is there some sort of age you have to be to do a money transfer ?

I have recieved money that way but Ebay warns against it. Although that possibly could be because they want you to use Paypal.

its because you cant trace/recover money from WU transfer that they discourage it.

Ive never dealt with them though i may have to soon...
