i bet you if you told someone that the WTC's would be attacked five years ago you would be in a jail. under suspicious activities.

What the hell are you on about Fleet?

I am singularly unimpressed by the fact that the few governments brave enough to fly in the face of popular global opinion, and the troops being sent to do the actual invading, killing and risk taking are bluntly dismissed by the phrase "and to a lesser extent".

I get the impression that tact isn't one of your strong points.
    Thanks for all the fish

maybe put iraqi's back in administrative positions, organise an iraqi police force? iraqi citizens will probably find it easier to deal with fellow countrymen than coalition soldiers. the coalition will advise and train/organise the police/administration, but the iraqi on the street will only have to deal with fellow iraqis.

Good point, what do you think can be done to remedy that?

That's what almost all of those who criticize Bush/the U.S. say.
They complain about how Iraq/the war on terrorism is handled but they don't know what should be done!

    Yes and no.
I'm not surprised that there was a major terrorist attack here in America. I am surprised at the targets and the methods used.

I've said to friends years ago... with the wide-open borders the U.S. has, some kind of attack is going to happen someday. That's one reason I think the U.S. should close the borders.

So, what would you do about terrorists and terrorism?

not to critisize the bush admin. but the borders are not going to get fixed while W is in office, he has a mexican sister in law, at least they wont be closed until her whole family is here
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma

because of just diving in about these WMD's we are IN that situation, if it had of been propperly evaluated before entering iraq, then we wouldnt have an argument! IMHO
if it were propperly evaluated, and a better course of action take that is.
