    car sound

    Whats the best sounding car (as in engine/exhaust) that can be bought for under 40,000 US dollars?

    You buy a car giving the sound the highest priority?

    Buy an old V8 muscle car with at least 6 liter displacement.

    ive always liked the sound of the 6R4

    Ultima GTR or TVR V8S .. you can buy quite a few TVRs for 40k

    I agree. Any 383, 396, 400, 426, 427, 428, 429, 440, 454 and 455 muscle car engine would be fine.
    Even the smaller ones, like 273, 283, 289, 302, 318, 340, 350, and 360 sounds nice with the proper exhaust system.
