Thanx Matt, once again! I was waiting for some hig res pics of the Farboud. You don't happen to have any background info to go with the car do you? Since I have to say the name & looks is pretty much what I know of this one.

Farboud, started by Arash Farboud who wished to build his dream car.

He and a few mates knocked up a litle something called the Farboud GT, which was quickly dropped after Porshce announced it wasn't happy about the high level of similarity to the 911 GT1.

    Back to the drawing board...

The Farboud GTS was a more realistic attempt at a car that could be produced in large numbers.

The initial prototypes have a aluminium honeycomb tub, with welded steel frames fore and aft, carbon kevlar bodywork, Ohlins race suspension, AP racing brakes etc.

Powered by an Audi V6, based on the RS4 powerplant but specially built by Dialynx with 440 - 580bhp.

As is it'd be ~£80,000 however in the interests of lowering the price to make it more competative, and emmissions/noise the specs have been revised.

The latest info seems to be a 3.0-litre V6 with 275bhp, or turbo with 355bhp, some body panels replaced with GRP and I think the Ohlins race set up is gone as well.

Should be circa £50,000, which is prime Noble territory. Aiming for those wanting something a bit more civilised than an M12, but not as boring as a 911.
    Thanks for all the fish

Does that make the GTS part GT, part human?
