Help identifying a piece of music ..

I need a piece of music for a video im editing at the moment but i dunno what its called. If you can give me a little help like a movie it may have been in or even better, the name of the song then Id really really appreciate it. Heres a vague description

Normally played along side sport events in movies .. normally people or a person running in slow motion.

It goes like this : Daaa dooo ..... dum dum dum de duuum .. duum ... dum dum dum de duuum .. dum dum diddy dum

Its almost classical and has an echoey "boom boom" in the background sometimes.

I know the description is vague, but cookie for anyone who can identify it or give evidence leading to an arrest .. i mean identification

Edit : Very inspirational kind of music

I think I know what you're talking about. I can't remember the exact name of the song though, argh. EDIT: give me 2-3 mins and I should get you the title, I have that tune that I think you're talking about but under a weird name.

    No, its faster than that.

No, theres no singing in it and very few instruments. Its a song especially made for movies or atleast not to be listened to leisurely.

The bit i was trying to describe is about 14 seconds long. Its a very slow. Theres sorta an echoey clap after the daa doo. If i remember rightly the main instrument is a piano .. its played quite high.

Edit : Think of the Final Countdowns "daa doo .. dum dum dum de dum" but slower, with classical instruments and piano as main.

I cant believe that idiot description enabled me to pick the tune but I think you are talking about the theme to chariots of fire by Vangelis.

From your "dum da dum" description it almost sounds like Starwars.. but I can sing those words in an ultra-fast techno beat and come up w/ any song so it's tough to single certain musical pieces out.
