The Authorized Mechanixfetch How Much Do You Drive Your Car Thread

Oooooh look another one! I'm just full of ideas today! Last night while delivering a Pizza to the base of Grouse Mountain I put my mother's 96 Ford Explorer XLT (yes I know it is an SUV yes it guzzles gas with a 5.0L v8 and is bad for delivering Pizza and yes it is my mothers) over 160000 km which i think is a fair amount of travel for an 8 year old car. My dad put "baby" his Escort and first car "round the clock" twice when he lived in England before I graced him with my birth but it only had a 99999 km dial. Still it was a long way. So who has the longest running car on the fourms?

I put about 30,000km/yr on my Hyundai

I'd put money on Bum-man having the highest mileage on a car over 500,000 miles on a '77 Mercedes-Benz 240D

It's got to be "bum-man" ( ). He's got an older Mercedes diesel with half-a-million miles on it. That's around 800,000 kilometres!

my Xantia will be four years old in May and so far it has done 172000 km's. It just had its midlife refurbishment, new suspension spheres, new cambelt and new front discs. Expected selling time: 2-3 years from now. Next car????
