    shouldn't this be a poll?
anyways i choose the porsche because, among other reasons, its german, cheaper, and not owned by ford. it also gives you the same numbers from a smaller powerplant
Don't bother me, I'm probably working while posting...

I don't know here. The porsche is probably the more pure sports car, but the Aston's looks are just stunning. I'd probably have to go Aston because of the similar numbers.

Given the prices, shouldn't it be compared to a 911 Turbo? How much is a Turbo in that market?

I'd go with the Aston, way more style than the Porsche. I also asked a friend of mine (a girl) she said she would earlier on a date with me if I had a Aston instead of a Porsche, because it is more sexy...

Why should you look at the pricetag if you won't (or can't) buy neither one of them

those numbers are what is claimed by porsche, but porsche has always been extremely conservative with numbers

autoweek states 0-60 at 4.2, its that way with most of their cars, the cgt isnt 0-60 in 3.9 its about 3.5-3.4

    just to imform you

i got for the am, if it was a db9 v. turbo it would be different

If I would have to buy one, it would be the Porsche (almost the same performance for almost half the price).

If someone would give me one for free, I would choose the Aston.

Aston Martin for now, the 911 is way too common.
