    Man those 1975+ American bumpers are hideous!

    I find that they look a hell of a lot better with the chrome ones. Especially in person.

    its very interesting car...they made the same fiat right? what was his name? X1/9? and one more thing: why there's no porsche badge on it?

    No Italian connection here

    914 was a joint venture between Porsche (designed and engineered the car) and VW (provided a four-cylinder engine, shared the investment).
    Karmann was responsible building the body.

    no the Triumph TR8 looks similair to the Bertone X1/9
    But the 914 is much more box(y)
